ACT-SO VISION:

  • To mobilize the adult community to promote academic and cultural excellence among African-American high school students
  • To recognize and reward academic and cultural achievement among African- American students on par with the recognition awarded to athletes.
  • To raise the standards of excellence and expectations of African-American students by providing them the necessary skills and resources to reach their goals and make a successful contribution to society
